Craniosacral therapy – a gentle relaxation method for body and mind, for adults, children and babies

About the craniosacral therapy method

Craniosacral therapy is a gentle relaxation method that works with the autonomic nervous system and helps the body calm down, activate its own self-healing processes, and find balance. It brings relief on both a physical and emotional level – easing pain after injuries and long-term difficulties, and helping release stored emotions. As a complementary therapy, it supports modern medicine and takes place in a calm environment that respects the body’s own readiness.

„Every step on our path matters.“

Why come?

People come to me at all kinds of life stages and with all kinds of needs – from babies and pregnant women, through children, to adults looking for relief from stress, anxiety or chronic pain. Every stage of life, and every body, has its own themes, but my clients share something in common: a longing for calm, for sleep without headaches, and for a deeper connection with themselves. I believe that gentle work with the body and its own capacity to heal can restore that balance – whoever comes, at whatever age, with whatever question.

What to expect in therapy?

Safe and sensitive touch.

Every person is unique, so I approach each one individually. I create a safe, supportive space where you can tune in to your body and deepen your connection with yourself. With children and babies, I make sure the touch respects their boundaries and pace, and that the therapy unfolds sensitively and playfully, with the whole family’s needs in mind.

Working with the nervous system.

The therapy works with the central nervous system and helps the body release deeply held tension. During a session we pause and give the body space to show what it needs – whether that’s settling after an injury, releasing after birth, or simply a moment where you let yourself slow down.

Space for a body that already knows.

I have always been fascinated by the power of touch and the body’s own ability to heal itself. During a session I will gently guide you on the path to health, release and overall harmony – trusting that the body already knows the way to balance.

About my work.

Through my practice I have seen how craniosacral therapy has a positive effect not only on physical health, but on emotional and mental wellbeing too – in adults and in the very smallest clients alike. My aim is to accompany clients on the path to finding inner balance and to support their body’s natural capacity to regenerate.

I trained in craniosacral therapy on the Basic Craniosacral Therapy Training in Ostrava under MVDr. Hana Chocholatá, BCST, a 1.5-year programme I completed in June 2025. I then went on to the postgraduate course The Child in Craniosacral Practice, again under Hana Chocholatá, focused on the specifics of working with children, babies and their parents in craniosacral practice.

Since 2025, I have also been a professional member of the Czech Association of Craniosacral Therapy.
